Cook time is 40 minutes (serves 3)
Ingredients for the recipe
300g king prawns
300g tofu
1 bunch spring onions
3 tablespoon sesame oil
3 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoon corn flour
½ teaspoon caster sugar
Procedure for the recipe
- Remove the shells of the king prawns, make an incision into their back and remove the bowels, and then rinse and pat dry thoroughly.
- Cut the tofu into large cubes. Trim and rinse the spring onions and cut into strips.
- Heat the oil and stir-fry the king prawns with the tofu and spring onions for 5mins.
- Mix the oyster sauce with soy sauce, corn flour, sugar and 3 tablespoon water.
- Add the sauce to the prawns; bring to the boil and leave to simmer until it thickens. Remove, arrange on plates and serve.
