Sole fish with Thai Basil and Kaffir Limes Recipe


Sole fish is a group of flatfish. Like all other fish it offers a good amount of proteins and some fats. Try this recipe.
Cook time 15 minutes and 30 minutes for marinating (serves 3)
Ingredients for the recipe
600g sole fillet
400g carrots
2 kaffir limes
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoon fish sauce
4 tablespoon vegetable oil
3 tablespoon soy sauce
1 bunch Thai basil
Procedure for the recipe
  • Dry the sole and cut into 3cm strips. Rinse, trim and peel the carrots, halve length-wise and then cut into diagonal fine slices. Cut the kaffir limes into the slices.
  • Marinate the sole strips for 30 mins in the oyster and fish sauces. Heat the oil and gently fry the carrot slices. Add the kaffir lime slices and the fish strips, toss and fry for 2mins
  • Towards the end, pour in the soy sauce and fold in the plucked Thai basil leaves. Serve.
